1. WHO WE ARE

MixAdvisor ("we", "us") operates mixadvisor.app. We act as the data controller for personal data processed through the Service.

2. DATA WE COLLECT

Account: email address and hashed password.
Uploaded audio and derived technical measurements (LUFS, peak, RMS, key, BPM, etc.).
Billing metadata from Stripe (customer ID, subscription status). We never see full card numbers.
Basic usage logs (timestamps, error reports) for reliability.

3. HOW WE USE IT

To provide and improve the Service, generate mix analysis, handle billing, prevent abuse, and communicate essential account information.

4. LEGAL BASIS (UK/EU GDPR)

Contract (delivering the Service), legitimate interests (security, product improvement), and consent where required.

5. PROCESSORS

We share the minimum data necessary with: Supabase (auth, database, storage), Stripe (payments), and an AI model provider used to generate written feedback. Your audio is not used to train third-party models.

6. RETENTION

Uploaded audio and analysis results are retained while your account is active. You may delete files or your account at any time by contacting support. Billing records are kept as required by law (typically 6 years).

7. YOUR RIGHTS

You may request access, correction, deletion, portability or restriction of your personal data, and lodge a complaint with the UK ICO or your local supervisory authority.

8. COOKIES

We use only strictly necessary cookies for authentication and preferences. We do not use advertising trackers.

9. SECURITY

Data is transmitted over TLS and stored in access- controlled infrastructure. No system is perfectly secure; use a strong unique password.

We will post material changes on this page and, where appropriate, notify you by email.
